**** — pronounced as "Asterisk", and sometimes formatted as ******* — is a Level ** Swordsman. He is the final boss in No Heroes Allowed!, Yu-Nama: The Puzzle, and No Heroes Allowed: No Puzzles Either!, but also makes appearances in Yūsha no Kuse ni Konamaiki da DASH! and No Heroes Allowed! VR as a regular hero. His title is "Foul-Mouthed Failure". He is primarily associated with Castle Noneim in all appearances.

Strategy
No Heroes Allowed!
**** is among the fastest heroes in the series, while also hitting extremely hard. Thus, if Badman's army hasn't been upgraded significantly, it is very difficult to wrestle **** down, as the monsters will simply be killed before they can land a hit. Thus, investing in Abnormal Breeds that can inflict sleep of any level — even Snooze Lizards — can work wonders for the army; paralysis is also effective. **** prioritises left, right, and then straight down, so it is worth using runes with small diamond-shaped rooms to bait him in, step on them, and lower his MP. Lizza the Fatt is a near-mandatory addition to the army for its survivability and massive attack power. Because ****'s defenses are actually quite low, a well-fed Lizza the Fatt will deal significant damage, especially if backed with defense boosts from Idle Wookiemon stashed at the bottom of the dungeon.

Etymology
****'s name, true to his title, is a parody of cuss words being censored in online chatrooms. In this case, **** cusses so much that much of his quotes are unintelligible. However, the use of four, in context with the franchise's roots, could be a callback to the name entry screen in early Dragon Quest titles.

- Originally, Asterisk's name had seven asterisks in English. It was first amended to four in Yu-Nama: The Puzzle, before changing back to seven in No Heroes Allowed: No Puzzles Either!, and finally back to four in No Heroes Allowed! VR.
