AAB (JP: あああい) is a Warrior introduced in What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!? 2. He is the partner of AAA and ABC, appearing alongside them as the final boss of the game, later being featured together as the penultimate final bosses of No Heroes Allowed!. He is featured a late-game hero in Yu-Nama: The Puzzle and No Heroes Allowed: No Puzzles Either!, and in No Heroes Allowed! VR, he appears as a Cheater Hero.

In What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!? 2, AAB is capable of disguising himself as Badman.

Story

AAB is one of many unfortunate heroes to be given a lazy name by their player. He stuck out, eventually meeting AAA and ABC between the events of What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!? and What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!? 2. Together, they form a party to try and hold down the fort after taking over Overlord Castle, but are nevertheless defeated by Badman's army.

In No Heroes Allowed!, AAB and his party are first seen on EX Stage 3 of Castle Noneim, attempting to grind experience points in Badman's stronger-than-average dungeon. Later, they are seen as the last line of defence defeated before Badman's army fights *******. He faces similar defeats in Yu-Nama: The Puzzle, and No Heroes Allowed: No Puzzles Either!.

In No Heroes Allowed! VR, it's revealed that AAB is a Cheater Hero, appearing when Badman's army takes too long to finish a Conquest, implying that his player uses cheats to buff his stats up.

Etymology

AAB's name is derived from players who don't understand name entry screens and simply spam characters to the text limit to get through it, using the auto-selection of the "confirm" button in the process. In AAB's case, it seems the player's finger slipped at some point.

In the Japanese and Chinese releases, the name is "AAA", followed by a character to turn it into something of a scream or squeak.
