Magic Barrier (JP: マジックバリア) is a hero skill introduced in No Heroes Allowed!. It's commonly used by Swordsmen.

Overview

Magic Barrier costs 10 MP to use. On use, damage from magical attacks is capped at 1-2% of the hero's max HP depending on the user. For example, ******* has 999 HP, and will thus take 9.99 damage. Because it's capped, if a monster deals less than the barrier's threshold, it will merely deal the usual damage. Magic Barrier lasts for 33 actions, including moving, attacking, using other skills, and more.

Trivia

• Magic Barrier bears a striking resemblance to the Reflector used by Fox and Falco in the Super Smash Bros. series, often referred to as fans as the "Shine" and known for its utility in Melee.
