Volcano
Volcano is a hero skill introduced in What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!?. It is commonly used by Magicians and Swordsmen. Its MP cost varies by colour.
When used, flame pillars will erupt from the ground in a fan shape to deal damage to monsters. It begins with a pillar directly in front of the user, then expands by 1 defeet left and right for each row. Thus, Volcano is at its most effective against rooms of monsters, usually burning everything in the room to a crisp. Because it starts in front of the user, monsters that are attacking from all sides will be safe from the assault.
It is usually used when motivation is high and a large amount of monsters are in the area. The monster detection can be manipulated with 1-defeet wide, winding corridors, where a hero will repeatedly use the skill for no reason, quickly accumulating mana in the blocks around them.
In No Heroes Allowed! VR
Volcano is the most common skill cast by heroes. When a hero casts the spell, a burst if fire shoots forward, damaging monsters. Weaker monsters such as Slimemosss and Spirits are often killed immediately upon contact. This skill is first available to Magicians and gradually given to another two hero classes, Swordsmen and Warriors.
Clerics, however, don't often cast this spell, despite voice lines exist for them casting this skill. The sole Cleric that casts the skill, Ashley, who is corrupted by Final Castle and renamed “A$hLE*”, can be seen casting the skill very often.
