Black Dragon
Black Dragons (JP: ブラックドラゴン) are the Level 2 Basic Breed of the Dragon family, introduced in What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!?.
It creates Guano, with can paralyse heroes that step on it and can be eaten by Omnoms. Like most dragons, Black Dragons can only move left and right, and can regenerate through Black Eggs. Black Dragons are at the top of the food chain, eating anything but runeborn minions. They can become Chaos Dragons if they regenerate while possessing 75 or more mana.
Black Dragons can be obtained naturally through Level 3 Mana Blocks if a Dragon has been upgraded with Dig Power. They can also be obtained through feeding a Dragon 75 or more mana.

Despite their name, Chaos Dragons are much darker. It is interesting to note that dragons don't regain health by eating other monsters, and they lay eggs right before they die. The amount of mana they absorbed determines the type of egg they lay. And for all those omelet lovers, don't even think about it...

Even though they're called Black Dragons, they aren't really that big, and Chaos Dragons are darker than them. It's weird, isn't it? Dragons don't recover much from eating. Instead, when they only have a little bit of vitality left, they lay eggs for future generations. The number of nutrients the parent absorbed before its demise decides what kind of Dragon comes out of the egg.

It likes nothing more of a morning than popping to a cafe for a full Draglish breakfast of fried Lizardman eggs and strong coffee. And don't get all hung up about the fact it doesn't like its coffee black. Just deal with it, yeah? Geez...

"Dagya! Uya!" This Black Dragon wiggles its tiny wings as it cries. When they order a coffee at the coffee shop, they usually get a free egg from a Lizardman. By the way, not drinking coffee black isn't one of the Seven Wonders of the Demon World, it's just a preference.

Trivia
- Until What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!? 2, Black Dragons were a purpleish colour. This was changed in No Heroes Allowed! to make it a more greyish colour, likely due to the introduction of the Shadow Dragon in the same game. In No Heroes Allowed! VR, Black Dragons were given a colour scheme similar to older revisions of Chaos Dragons, while the latter were made red, thus ending confusion between the two species.
