Giant Breed
Giant Breeds (JP: 巨大種) are monsters that can split and combine with high vitality, introduced in What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!? 2.
Giant Breeds obtained through mutation are often caused by a lack of food to sustain them. Thus, the monsters adapt through having higher fat stores, thus their size. To become more self-sustaining, they will cannibalise each other to increase their vitality and attack power further, which particularly helps monsters like the Obese Lizardman. Monsters that die while nesting are also treated as those that have starved. In No Heroes Allowed!, drowning in water is also treated as starvation, so making Giant Slimemosses can be particularly easy through pouring it into a nutrient farm.
Giant Breeds are characterised by their very high attack power and HP, making them take significantly longer to perish against sustained strikes from heros. They can also block magic attacks from Magicians and related heroes, making them excellent in long corridors, mitigating one of their greatest weaknesses. Lizza the Fatt is a particularly strong showing of this, being the strongest Obese Lizardman with over 1000 max HP and an attack stat of 103, making it stronger than even some Dragons. Many dungeons are built around supporting Lizza the Fatt as much as possible. However, Giant Breeds are often slow and easily overwhelmed by multiple heroes, so care should be taken to ensure this doesn't come to pass. Plus, they tend to reproduce slowly, which can make it difficult to sustain large numbers without a prepared dungeon.
Giant Breeds act as stronger versions of Basic Breeds in No Heroes Allowed: No Puzzles Either!. They require using a Martial Artist, Super Rare heroes, in Monster Mixing to obtain and upgrade. Otherwise, they have no special abilities. When making a horde with the highest possible ATK in No Heroes Allowed: No Puzzles Either!, a Big Psycho is necessary, possessing a maximum Strength value of 78, the highest of the green tiles.
In No Heroes Allowed! VR
While mutation was removed in No Heroes Allowed! VR, Jumbomosses remain a feature, with excess Mosses merging together to form them. They cannot reproduce or grow into Slimeshrooms, but still feed, have higher ATK, and have higher than usual Horde Power.
