Shadow Dragon
Shadow Dragons (JP: シャドウドラゴン) are the final stage of the Dragon family and a variant of the Shin Dragon, introduced in No Heroes Allowed!.
In No Heroes Allowed!
Shadow Dragons can only be obtained if a Chaos Dragon has been fed 5-12 nutrients and over 75 mana; they are not available through Dig Power upgrades. In practice, they are slightly weaker than the Shin Dragon; therefore, it is strictly suboptimal to obtain a Shadow Dragon, making it a punishment for not maintaining a purely mana-fed Dragon.
Shadow Dragons are at the top of the food chain, eating anything but runeborn minions. Like all normal dragons, Shadow Dragons can only move left and right, and can regenerate; if mana isn't upkept, it will turn back into a Chaos Dragon. It creates Guano, with can paralyse heroes that step on it and can be eaten by Omnoms.

Much like his dragon brothers, the Shadow Dragon is a massive monster. However, his true form is actually the dark shape that stretches ominously out beneath him, and sticks firmly to his feet. He's still a living being though, and if you neglect him, he'll starve to death, so do pop back from time to time and make sure he's got enough to eat.

Some people believe that the shadows of these dragons are their real forms, with the "body" being a magical illusion. It's a contrived theory, but it does sound cool - so into the Encyclopediasic it goes.
