Omnom
Omnoms (JP: ガジガジムシ) are Level 1 Basic Breed of the Insect family that look like white caterpillers. They eat Slimemosses and Slimebuds, and in No Heroes Allowed! VR onwards, even Spirits. After eating enough, they will find an enclosed space and turn in to Ompupae, which hatch into Omnom Flies. Omnoms can be upgraded to the Omnomnom with Dig Power.

This bug feeds mainly on Slimemosses. The Omnom appears in many forms and locations. It generally has a foul look on its face, and its sharp teeth are capable of cutting through just about anything. People assume it was named after its chewing sound, but it´s actually named after the man who discovered it, Professor Omnom.

The returning mascot of the Badman! series. Again, they are named after the person who discovered them, not because they eat everything. They don't eat flowers when they are larvae, and they eclose into pupae if they are sufficiently nourished. One scholar pointed out that they don't eclose in open spaces.

- Diet: Slimemosses
- Predators: Lizardmen, Liliths
- Insects whose diet consists almost entirely of Slimemosses, allowing them to spread extensively throughtout the Underworld. They are tougher than Slimemosses, and move all over the dungeon in search of food. When they have eaten enough, they curl up into pupae and prepare to become adults, during which time they are completely vulnerable, and are often used as punchbags by unruly heroes.

You may think that these insects were named for their ceaseless omming and nomming of Moss - but the real reason is too dark to reveal. Omnoms can now feed on Spirits too, after being trained (forced) to eat them by Badmella.

Etymology
"Omnom" is onomatopoeia for gorging one's self on food.

Trivia
- Originally, Omnoms had an appearance akin to that of a Pure Omnom, with red eyes. However, with the latter's introduction in What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!? 2, its eye colour was changed to blue. This change would not be reversed until No Heroes Allowed! VR, where Pure Breeds were removed.
- Funnily enough, the old sprite was used for the "Bugged Out" trophy in No Heroes Allowed! when they were added for the PS4 and PS5 versions in January 2023.
- Omnoms had a dedicated minigame in Makai Casino Royale called "Gajjiri Racer", which would translate to "Omnom Racer" in English.
- Omnoms are said to have got their name from a background character called "Professor Omnom" in the Almanac, who is referred to in multiple entries across the series.
