Omnomnom
Omnomnoms (JP: デスガジガジ) are Level 2 Basic Breed of the Insect family. They pupate into Omnomnompupae and become Omnomnom Flies. They look like red and purple caterpillars and feed on Moss family members; in No Heroes Allowed! VR, this diet extends to Spirit family members as well. Omnomnoms can be upgraded into Killer Omnoms with Dig Power. In No Heroes Allowed! VR, they spawn from Omnomnom Nests.

Hungrier and angrier than regular Omnoms, these voracious animals can quickly devour their natural prey, the Slimemoss, in no time. Without Lizardmen around to control them, this quickly leads them to starving to death, never to omnomnom again. We can't figure out if a Brain Bug is involved.

A stronger type of Omnom. They might be able to defeat low level heroes. However, in a habitat where there are few to no Lizardmen, they tend to eat all their food and end up dying out. Once they become pupae, they look just like sweet potatoes, so it's pleasant to see some stupid, famished human heroes eat them by mistake. Their pupae are often used in Netherworld cuisines.

An Omnom with slightly improved attributes all round. Can prove a stiff challenge for entry-level heroes, especially in larger numbers. The crimson dye made from its pupae is used to make Sanguine Silk, a fine thread that can be woven into such classy garments as Underworld Underpants.

This stronger sort of Omnom can vanquish a low-level hero if they attack in a large enough force. But they're distracted by the mere sight of Slimemoss, which can occasionally lead to a careless demise.
