Not to be confused with Overlord Castle or Badman's Chamber, locations in the mainline series.

Badman's Lair as seen in No Heroes Allowed: No Puzzles Either!

Badman's Lair (JP: 魔王のへや) is a location and feature in No Heroes Allowed! VR, as well as No Heroes Allowed: No Puzzles Either! and related titles.

In No Heroes Allowed: No Puzzles Either!, it is vaguely based on the Overlord Castle from What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!? 2, but isn't quite the same in appearance, having less terrain overall, and being centred in a new corner of the world.

In No Heroes Allowed! VR, it is the room at the peak of the tower used to begin Conquests.

In No Heroes Allowed! VR, Badman's Lair is the location that serves the purpose of being a stage select screen, depicted as a tall purple tower where the player is located. The God of Destruction commands Badman's army through this location, directing them to strategically important areas and objectives. The game board where Conquests take place appears to represent what happens outside of the room, as when the player loses, a hero barges into the room to take Badman away, wherein he will eventually escape and climb back through the window.

Badman's Chamber is the central headquarters for combining monsters with heroes to create stronger ones, acting as the centre of the game's progression. It also allows the player to check the Monsterpedia, Loot, and Underhand Item count, as well as choose what monsters to use in stages; Horde Power can also be checked. Quick access to the Mine is also available.

Purchasing Underhand Items

Underhand Items can be purchased for Potency in the mobile version by clicking the "G" Icon, for the following prices;

Underhand Item Potency Price
Dragon Egg 5,000
Flux Incapacitator 4,000
Lilith's Song 3,000

Two of each Underhand Item are given for free at the start of the game.

Order Horde

Order Horde (JP: 軍へんせい) is the game's monster management section. Without using in-game purchases, there is a limit of 8 monsters per grade, giving a maximum of 40 overall. With in-game purchases, 3 pages of 16 monsters per grade becomes available.

There is an "optimise" button available in the bottom right corner, allowing the numerically strongest monsters to be automatically chosen for the player. However, this will ignore monsters that have special effects.

Monster Mixing

Not to be confused with mutation, a game mechanic in the dungeoneering series. For the process of upgrading blocks, see evolution. For the concept seen in the Dragon family, see regeneration.

In No Heroes Allowed: No Puzzles Either!, instead of mutation, it uses Monster Mixing (JP: 魔物合成). This serves two purposes: levelling up and evolving monsters.

Monsters are obtained at level 1, and must be levelled up to level 10 - the maximum possible - to reach their full attack power. Moss family members will also undergo changes in appearances to match their Slimeblossom life cycles. The difference can be very wide: the Hydra, the strongest monster in the game, jumps from 58 to 87 Attack between levels. Monsters can be merged with Loot, heroes, and/or other monsters to be levelled up.

To evolve a monster, a captured hero that is at least a given level is required. For non-Basic Breeds, they can occasionally be "Super Rare" types that can only be seen through repeatedly playing a certain stage.

The amount of monsters that can be stored is limited to a single box at first, but can be expanded multiple times for 90円 + Tax each.
