Downloaded Story as seen in What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!? 2.

Downloaded Stories are optional side quests that can be downloaded in What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!? 2. Instead of taking up a new continent, the stories take place on an "Area 9: Downloaded Story" behind Van Gehrig. As of 6th July 2021, with the closure of the PSP Store, they are no longer available for download on the original PlayStation Portable. However, they remain available for the PS Vita as of February 2024.

Overview

The first two Downloaded Stories take a focus on Daughter, known in modern titles as Badmella. In A Day Without A Badman, she has to be defended as Badman checks on a new anti-aircraft machine he installed on his hideout, whereas in NO MORE CHRISTMAS!, she is the final boss. Meanwhile, My Name is Shota follows the story of the titular Shota, recounting his side of the story of What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!?. The Downloaded Stories follow significantly different gameplay to the rest of the dungeoneering games, often utilising strict time limits (such as defeating Shota within 40 seconds) and added objectives (like spawning a Phantom Lady) in addition to regular gameplay. Needless to say, this makes the stories far more difficult to beat, testing otherwise less important skills compared to the main story.
