Mine
The Mine (JP: 採掘場) is a location introduced in No Heroes Allowed: No Puzzles Either!. It's located to the right of Badman's Lair, on an area of conquered land. It acts as an encampment for captured heroes, who will mine for Treasure Chests and Monster Pods.
In No Heroes Allowed: No Puzzles Either!
The Mine is the only way to naturally obtain new monsters, Loot, and Underhand Items during the game and is thus a centrepiece in strengthening Badman's army. When placed inside, heroes will begin hitting soil with their weapons until they break before moving on. Heroes can be swapped out at any time. The direction dug is randomised, but always ends up resembling a dungeon. Occasionally, heroes will rest and fall asleep, but this can be stopped by poking them, in which they go back to work. However, any Treasure Chests or Monster Pods they sleep on will be prioritised.
Initially, up to 4 heroes can be placed in the Mine, but in-game purchases allow it to be increased. In the Vita release, it can be immediately brought to 16, or in packs of 4 for 90円 + Tax each, but in the mobile release, it's 5,000 Potency per slot.
The speed at which a hero digs depends on their Dig Power. In the Vita release, this can be further increased for a limited time by purchasing a potion. However, in the mobile release, this is replaced with the ability to purchase a random new monster for 30,000 Potency.
Updates
On July 14th, 2014, the Mining Drill was added to the Japanese version of the game, which can temporarily increase digging speed. Additionally, it is the only way to obtain the Acceleration Device and Time Extend for use in Survival Mode and Time Attack.
Mining Drill packs were sold in three tiers, as follows.
Icon | Mining Drill Tier | Price | Bonus |
---|---|---|---|
? | Copper | 90円 + Tax | +5 Underhand Items |
Silver | 180円+Tax | +15 Underhand Items | |

In Yūsha no Kuse ni Konamaiki da DASH!
Yūsha no Kuse ni Konamaiki da DASH! expanded the Mine system, now having five separate encampments that can have up to four heroes in them each, who perish upon finishing mining. Two mines are available by default, and three can be rented temporarily with in-game purchases. Some heroes have Dig Skills that can help them mine more effectively.
