What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!? and related

Brahzuzu are spawned from Brahzuzu Runes. They feed on Spirits, Liliths, Lizardmen, and items such as Corpses and Dragon Orbs. When well-fed, they will fall asleep until they're hungry again. They are also aggressive towards other members of the Demon family and will fight to the death. Brahzuzu will boost the Magic Defence of all monsters in the dungeon by 12%. If purified with holy water, it will become a Harmunculus.

  • Taxonomy: Demon

These brahs can boost all monsters's defensive skills. According to ancient scriptures, hippies used to ride V-Diabros to Thankful Dead concerts and talk to transparent Brahzuzus. Unfortunately, we couldn't find any of the latter.

  • Food: All Lizardmen, Spirits, Liliths
  • Predators: All Other Demon Types
  • Ability: Fortifies All Monsters' RES

A superior version of the Diabro. His impulses are even more effective than the Diabro's. It's worth the effort to summon him, but keep in mind that if there are two different types of Demons, they'll try to kill each other. So, keep different types of demons away from each other. Other than that, all's cool, brah.

No Heroes Allowed!

BrahzuzuNHA.jpg

Highly-developed psychedelic demons spawned from runes that have soaked up even more mana than Diabros, whose effect on magical defence they quadruple. One thing to remember, demon fans, is that no species of demon is fond of another, and when they meet, they will fight to the death, so careful rune placement is essential if you don't want to end up on the road to rune.

Etymology

Brahzuzu is a corruption of "bad ju-ju". In various West African religions, ju-ju has various luck-centric connotations. Spells and charms can apply good or bad ju-ju to living creatures, usually people, for good or bad purposes. Online, "bad juju" has been appropriated as slang for actions that could likely result in karmic justice later. The "brah" can also be seen as an old slang variation for "bro".

In the East Asian language, Brahzuzu is named "High Satan", being an upgraded form of Diabro, dubbed サたーん Satan in the Japanese games. It possibly refers to "High Demons".
