Yummy Jerky
Yummy Jerky (JP: いいちくわ) is an item introduced in What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!? 2 and is featured as Loot in No Heroes Allowed: No Puzzles Either!.
In the main series, Yummy Jerky is a bait trap set by Monster Hunter class heroes, which can either instantly kill or restore the HP of a monster, similar to the Rainbow Fungus. It can be removed through the Dungeonquake ability of The People's Pick, water, or poking it with the God of Destruction's currently-used Pickaxe. Any monster in the game, with the exception of nutrient consumers like Mandrakes and Slimemosses, can consume it.
The Rare Breeds of the Lilith family and Lizardman family are influenced by consumption of Yummy Jerky. Should members of the family consume it and become stressed, they may mutate into these breeds. For example, a Lizardman may become a Frill Lizard II, and a Lilith may become a Mosswoman.
In No Heroes Allowed: No Puzzles Either!
In No Heroes Allowed: No Puzzles Either!, Yummy Jerky functions as a Loot item that can be used to level up monsters. It gives 50 Exp when used in fusion.

This used to be food for ninja dogs, but now it's used for trapping monsters. The most popular kind are made with holy water. According to Lizardmen, some stupid humans make jerky with venom. If a monster eats this kind of "poisonous" jerky, it'll recover HP.

Strips of cured meat dried in the sun and often enjoyed as a light snack with a refreshing drink. They give off large amounts of energy when consumed, and can trigger mutations as a result.

Trivia
- The Yummy Jerky mentions that it is made of "Netherworld Fish" in the western localisation; this is a reference to the East Asian releases showing it's actually chikuwa, a type of fishcake.
