Fire Spirit
Fire Spirits (JP: ファイアエレメント) are the Level 3 Basic Breed of the Spirit family, introduced in What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!?.
In these titles, Fire Spirits cannot attack heroes and are strictly mana distributors. It reproduces when it consumes enough mana to split in two, and can be used to power up runes or corpses to summon more powerful monsters. In What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!? 2 onwards, they can be upgraded into Dark Spirits with Dig Power.
In No Heroes Allowed! VR
Fire Spirits were reworked to be able to attack heroes and spawn from Fire Spirit Nests. With the removal of mana, they feed on Fiend Dew instead. Being capable of floating, they can scale walls, avoid slippery terrain, and cross rivers, making them excellent beneficiaries of a Demonic Charge. Like previous titles, they can be upgraded into Dark Spirits with Upgrade Points.

Scholars claim that the different Spirits were named based on their colors, instead of their elements. But if they're really scholars, they wouldn't have done that. What gives?

Even more reproductive than Ice Spirits, they can fight better, too. Although they are not as destructive as other monster types, they can deal elemental damage to heroes and leach off their mana (MP), so heroes usually hate them.

Spirits that look like the burning souls of the damned. They move and reproduce so fast that watching them for long periods of time induces a hypnotic, mana-replenishing state. Okay, it doesn't. But it should do.

Much like Ice Spirits, these Spirits are named solely for their color rather than for any elemental property. They can't use fire magic, nor are they particularly warm. They question their existence on a daily basis.
