Graviphotons (JP: グラビトーン) are the Level 4 Rare Breed of the Spirit family, introduced in What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!? 2.

What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!? 2 and related

Graviphotons appear when there are 200 or more Spirits in a dungeon. While their fertility is higher than a normal Spirit, they adopt a kamikaze-style attack against heroes, killing themselves in the process; this can be seen as a self-cull mechanism. They still distribute mana and can be drawn into runes and corpses to power them up.

It reigns at the top of the rare Spirits. It has its own gravity field, but it is often attracted to heroes. When it travels towards heroes, it exceeds supersonic speeds.

A musical instrument found in many Underworld households that makes a sound like Lilith nails being scraped down a blackboard. No one knows how this sound is created, but one theory is that it's due to minute vibrations that reach speeds of up to Mach 7. Some scientists dismiss this as impossible, but they don't have any better ideas, so who cares what they think?

Etymology

Graviphotons are a hypothetical particle that exists within Kaluza-Klein theory. They would exist in spacetime dimensions higher than four. They would behave like photons, but experience anti-gravity behaviours, or even cancel gravitational force entirely. While searches for such a particle have been conducted since the late 1970s, no results have come to fruition.
