Wandering King
Wandering Kings (JP: さまようキング) are one of two Pure Breeds of the Skeleman family, introduced in No Heroes Allowed!.
In No Heroes Allowed!
Wandering Kings are the "levelled up" state of the Skelebond, appearing if one kills a hero. However, they can also be summoned if a fossil is soaked with water. Like all Skelemen, they cannot eat or reproduce, but when an attack connects with a hero, stat buffs, such as those from War Cry, are negated. Unlike Skelemen, they are noticeably fast, and are not inhibited by water.
Once a Wandering King dies, it will turn into a Corpse, allowing it to be reanimated as a Skeleman or Skeleslave, or otherwise left to grow into a Mandrake or Magic Mandrake. In the former case, it becomes possible for a Wandering King to progress all the way to a King of Bling. While they can be obtained in a similar manner, Wandering Kings cannot become Crystal Kings.
In No Heroes Allowed: No Puzzles Either!, Wandering Kings can only be obtained via the Mine, no longer being an upgraded form of a Skelebond. They are Level 4 azure tiles, but have among the lowest attack of them all, effectively being "dud" monsters. Curiously, the Wandering King was dubbed a Pure Breed, and erroneously uses the Kicking King's sprite.
In-Game Descriptions
No Heroes Allowed!
Bony monarchs who roam the Underworld in search of...who knows. To be honest, it would be nice if they acted a bit more...king-like, but as long as they keep walloping heroes the way they do, we'll let it slide.

Etymology
The "Wandering" part of the Wandering King's name is a translation of the Japanese prefix shared between it and the Skelebond: さまよう Samayō.

Trivia
- In No Heroes Allowed: No Puzzles Either!, Wandering Kings mistakenly use the Kicking King sprite, with the Wandering King sprite being given to the King of Bling.
- Wandering Kings are stated to be Pure Breeds in No Heroes Allowed: No Puzzles Either!, despite no prior game having them be obtainable through holy water or stress. If a Skeleman family member is struck with holy water, they are immediately destroyed.
