Skeleman

A Skeleman sprite as seen in Yūsha no Kiroku Ver.(Ke).

A Skeleman (JP: スケルトン) is the reanimated body of a dead hero's corpse and the base monster of the Skeleman family.

What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!? and related

A Skeleman's strength depends on the mana within, which is dictated by the amount the hero had before they died. However, it can be further improved by having Spirits occupy its Corpse. If a Skeleman strikes a hero, it can invalidate their stat boosts, such as Attack boosts from War Cry. Skelemen have no diet and cannot reproduce, meaning that their HP acts as a kind of timer. Skelemen that perish due to "hunger" can become corpses again, allowing them to be resurrected.

In No Heroes Allowed!, if a Skeleman defeats a hero, it will become a Corpse King.

No Heroes Allowed: No Puzzles Either! and related

In No Heroes Allowed: No Puzzles Either!, the Skeleman can be obtained in the Mine. Unlike previous titles, it cannot be upgraded into a Skeleslave, instead upgrading into a Corpse King, following the level-up line from No Heroes Allowed!.

In-Game Descriptions

What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!?

SkelemanWDIDTDTML.jpg
  • Taxonomy: Dead guy

Jab a hero's corpse and this little fella pops up. Its strength depends on how much mana it has, and it's the only creature that can nullify a hero's attack-boosting magic. It doesn't have much of an appetite, nor much of a digestive system, so it begins losing HP as soon as it's born.
