Magic Fungus
Magic Fungus (JP: マジカルキノコ) is an item introduced in What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!? 2 and is featured as Loot in No Heroes Allowed: No Puzzles Either!.
In the mainline series, Magic Fungus appears when excess mana appears around the dungeon's air; this happens when a hero perishes without any soil for the mana to rest in, such as in a large room. They are worth 5 mana, which can be consumed by any mana-based monster, as well as Maras. The mana can also be distributed by breaking the fungus with the God of Destruction's pickaxe.
In No Heroes Allowed: No Puzzles Either!
Magic Fungi act as Loot in No Heroes Allowed: No Puzzles Either!, being used in mutation for upgrading monsters. It's worth 300 experience points, which is rather low. They can be obtained via Treasure Chests in the Mine, but are very rare after clearing the game.

Blue mushrooms that spring up in places where there are a lot of mana in the air. They are eaten by mana-type consumers. As bad luck would have it, those who eat them don't start spitting fireballs or anything, but they will disperse all their mana if you give them a tap with your pickaxe.
