Cold climate slimemoss. They look cold, but are really rather warm inside. Their name is derived from the Greek hero, Hyacinth. What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!? 2
- Food: Nutrients
- Predators: Omnoms
This type of Slimemoss grows in cold areas. Many people still believe they are cold, but they are, in fact, pretty warm. The '80s mega-hit song "Slime on the Water" tells of kids who dive into Hyacin Slimemosses, thinking they're ponds. Their buds gather lots of nutrients, but not from the soil around it.

A variety of Slimemoss prevalent in frigid climes. Despite their name, they're actually quite warm, and often find themselves in the pockets and undergarments of those with a weakness to cold. Strange, isn't it?

Etymology
"Hyacin" refers to the Hyacinth, a group of flowering herbal plants, referring to the Slimemoss's final form as a Slimeblossom. Despite the name, they are native to the middle east, a notably warm area; however, they have been imported and flower even in the colder regions of Europe, where they are popular houseplants. Given the native area, though, this could be why the name was changed in VR.
