Pure Hurtle
Pure Hurtles (JP: ピュアタートル) are the Pure Breed of the Hurtle family, a group of aquatic monsters introduced in No Heroes Allowed!.
In No Heroes Allowed!
Pure Hurtles are born from stressed Hurtles reproducing or being struck with holy water. Like all Pure Breeds, Pure Hurtles cannot eat or reproduce, and are extremely weak in combat.
Pure Hurtles will throw hammers from afar to attack and retreat into their shells when attacked up-close. If it dies of starvation, it will leave a Pure Shell behind, which Lilith family members will use for Shell Shock if dungeon IQ is at Mid-High or more. While their shells are the weakest of all Hurtle Shells when used for this purpose, their disposability makes it economical. Otherwise, they're best used for nutrient distribution or feeding Whales and Humanoids.

Supposedly, if you spot one of these lucky Hurtles, you'll live for ten-thousand years. They've been central to traditional customs for thousands of years, and pieces of their shells are carried as good luck charms. The other species of Hurtle are always trying to talk them into going into business together, but they say they're too pure for that. The self-righteous beggars.
