An Aristoquachnid in No Heroes Allowed!

Aristoquachnids (JP: ユニクモ) are a special breed of Aquachnid introduced in No Heroes Allowed!.

In No Heroes Allowed!

Aristoquachnids can be spawned through accumulating 20 mana within any member of the Aquachnid family, which is normally achieved through defeating a Hero. Thus, they can be seen as the aquatic counterpart to the Herculomnom. They feed on water-based nutrients that comes from the death of mould and other nutrient-based aquatic monsters. Stat-wise, Aristoquachnids are slightly stronger than Bluebacks, but slightly weaker than Brown Widows.

Aristoquachnids can be obtained very quickly thanks to the ease of accessing Aquachnids early into the game. Because of their high stats for the time period, they can dominate the first few stages of each chapter. Because they can reproduce, they can even replace regular Aquachnids for a period, though this can be counterproductive if upgrading Aquachnids further, as they will take food from the upgraded species if not culled post-upgrade. Their decent Magic Resistance for the early-game makes them a stellar option against Magician-type Heroes as well. Due to their meagre stats later into each chapter, they are frequently powercrept by Brown Widows, but can hold their own if Aquachnids aren't upgraded past Bluebacks. Due to the power difference, like Herculomnoms to Killer Omnoms, Aristoquachnids later become a balancing measure for the high reproductive capabilities.

No Heroes Allowed: No Puzzles Either! and related

In No Heroes Allowed: No Puzzles Either!, Aristoquachnids were made the Level 5 species of the Aquachnid family, evolving from the Waterantula and taking the blue slot. However, with no special abilities, they are plainly outclassed by the Leviathomnom.

Secret masters of the monster world, these spiders are the bee's knees...gah, you know what I mean. They swoop across the water's surface like graceful dragons, and have a cunning plan to turn Crystal Ladies into mermaids by dragging them into the water that they've yet to carry out.
