Members of the Lizardman family will make nests in spaces of 2x3 defeet. The only limiter is soil blocks: Nests can be produced close to each other, to the point graphics can overlap. Nests don't have any collision and will remain in the background, not affecting gameplay at all. Giant Breeds do not create nests.

Once produced, the Lizardman will wander in its general vicinity and lay Lizardman Eggs when they have consumed enough nutrients. If the dungeon IQ is "High" in No Heroes Allowed!, they can also create Totem Poles, which will attack heroes that come near. If the Lizardman perishes, the nest will remain permanently, but become effectively useless. If a Lizardman is born in the entrance, it can be reused, but this is very rare. Lizardman Nests can be made right next to each other, wherein they will overlap.

In No Heroes Allowed! VR, Lizardman Nests are the Level 1 Nest for their respective family. They can be upgraded into Lizard Knight Nests with Upgrade Points. The concept of Totem Poles was completely removed, but Lizardman Eggs will still be produced.

To the Lizardmen, the nest is a hallowed ground, occupied solely by macho man-chunks who propagate the species on their own. Lizard Mages have done much research into how this is possible, but have turned up no answers.
